*Competition Guidelines**

1. Each participant may submit only one entry.

2. Entries must be presented as either a long or short drink (not a shot) with a minimum volume of 4 ounces.

3. All entries are due by 5 PM on September 12, 2024. Competitors will be judged at individually scheduled times between September 11-12, 2024.

4. Finalists from the first round will advance, and their cocktails will be featured for tasting at participating bars throughout the weekend. The winner, based on weekend ballots, will be announced on September 15, 2024.

**Ingredients and Rules:**

5. The challenge is to create a cocktail that can be easily executed across different bar settings and bartender skill levels.

6. Each drink may include up to five ingredients, including fruits, juices, syrups, drops, or dashes. Garnishes are excluded from this count. All ingredients must be capable of being pre-batched and pre-diluted, with no sprays permitted.

7. A batch recipe yielding a minimum of 5 liters must be submitted.

8. Competing products are not allowed. This includes other scotch, whisky, berry liqueurs, or cordials.

9. The cocktail must feature at least 1 oz of Highland Park 12-Year Scotch and a minimum of 0.5 oz of Chambord.

**Scoring Criteria:**

- Appearance: 15 points

- Garnish: 15 points

- Creativity/Concept: 10 points

- Taste: 60 points
